I'm back from NY!

I am exhausted, my feet are tired, I've walked everywhere, but I had SO much fun! New York has so much history, amazing landmarks, intricate architecture, great shopping and there is always something to do! I LOVED the musical Mary Poppins and LOVED shopping on Canal Street, finding some knock-off purses in back rooms behind hidden doors in little chinese souvenir shops, and bartering like I was in Mexico but without the hassle of going to Mexico! Here are some of the pictures, this isn't all of them, but let me just say, I wish pictures had sound so you could here some of the things my mom said in her delirious sleep deprived stupor around the city!

{Our view of the Empire State Building from our hotel room window} {Brooklyn Bridge}

{Ground Zero, not much to see, it is all under construction & blocked from the public}

How old am I?!??

Here I sit, sifting through my e-mail, 90% of it is junk, but as I was going through to delete it one of them caught my eye...."Hoveround, get back your freedom today!" What?!! What website or newsletter or contest did I ever enter that led someone to believe me to be a potential consumer of a hoveround power chair? AND, if I was going to purchase something, I would totally have to get a Jazzy, it sounds cooler :)

SPEAKING of which, that reminds me of commercials, I don't watch very many these days, but some of those things they sell on TV actually work! My mom is the *queen* of "as seen on TV" and the magic bullet, ped egg, spacebags, are actually kind of cool. Maybe one day she'll cave in and get herself a jazzy....(hahaha) Like this:
