Thankful Thursday

The last 7 days have been extremely overwhelming and difficult, one of those 'life changing' weeks. It becomes so easy to get down on life and feel sorry for yourself, even when it is legitimately aweful. But I remind myself that I have been so blessed in this life. I live in a country where I am free to express my opinion, believe as I want and become whatever I want to be. I live in a home instead of the street, I have food to eat and don't have to worry if my children will be hungry when they go to sleep. I have a job, Kolby has a job. My children are healthy and we have so many resources to aid in their development and individual needs. We have an amazing support group called a family who all live nearby. I have the knowledge that Jesus Christ lives, he listens to my prayers, he understands my pain, and he gives me the strength to face challenges when I no longer have my own.

I have no reason to be anything but grateful.
