Double Trouble!

For the 24th of July Hannah and all of her cousins were in a parade for Pioneer Day. I couldn't go but heard it was lots of fun, they were basically towed in a trailer and threw candy at the people, what more could a kid want?

Later than night Hannah decided she was going to sleepover at her cousin Mia's house, the next day, they looked like twins! They are the best of friends and if I didn't know them I'd think they were sisters or something!

Girl time

Yesterday I took Hannah with me to get our nails done...Here she is getting them painted but too embarassed that I was taking her picture so she would not look at me. 5 minutes after they were painted she messed up the flower on her finger, go figure.

Later that day we went to my friend Emily's house where Hannah jumped on the trampoline with Athina because mommy didn't feel up to it with her big belly! Hannah LOVES trampolines and has convinced my parents to buy one and put it in their yard next week...she has them wrapped around her little finger :)

Big Sister soon!

Hannah is so excited to be a big sister! She is constantly hugging my belly and signing songs to her brother, to which he ALWAYS responds by moving around :) I think they will be great together! However, today when Hannah didn't like that I did not order her a sprite at Subway she said that both baby brother and I were being naughty! Oh the joys, already blaming her brother!!

Memories...

This was on my cousin's blog, looked fun, so here goes-

Here is a fun little game... Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! (Including memories of Kolby or Hannah as well!!) Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. On your mark...get set...blog your memories!!

Dinosaur Museum

We took Hannah to the Thanksgiving Point Museum of Ancient Life. We first went to a 3-D show of "Monsters Under the Sea." It was so funny to see Hannah trying to grab things. At first she was scared of the dinosaur/fish things, and they were kind of scary, but she eventually caught on that they weren't real. Afterward we walked through the museum where Hannah loved seeing the dinosaurs including fish, birds and the typical T-Rex. There were a few hands on exhibits where she got to play with toy dinosaurs in some sand and water, another time she got to put together a giant stuffed dinosaur and in the last exhibit she got to "dig for dinosaur bones" in some sand. She loved it! In all it was a really fun museum and I wish we had more time to really play and go through everything.

*Side note: Of course Kolby found the camera after I gave up all hope. HOWEVER, I plugged the battery in to be charged and took the camera to the museum with us, only to discover I left the battery charging at home. I am so absentminded these days, I swear pregnancy kills brain cells! So again, these pictures only have the camera phone quality, but better than nothing...

My little helper

Ever since Hannah turned 4, she has become so independent. I have to ask her permission before doing anything for her or even helping. However, she just loves being my helper! She asks me to bake something everyday so that she can help, she even loves cleaning the house. I saw these aprons at the mall that were for mom and daughter, so I got us matching ones to wear when we baked and did housework, it always makes it a little more enjoyable if you can wear something fun!

Holiday weekend

So everyone else has updated their blog except me! I have once again, lost our camera!! It has been gone over 2 months and I am suspecting it may never return :( As this baby is getting closer I am feeling more pressure to find it, but alas, at least I have my phone that has a camera. So, I caught a few shots this last weekend. This is Hannah holding her newest cousin Britta before the Stadium of Fire. (Although from the sounds of it, she may get a new cousin today, we're keeping our fingers crossed for my brother Mitch and his wife Carolina!)
This is Hannah sitting with Kolby in our EXCELLENT seats at the Stadium of Fire, thanks to Kolby's generous grandparents who spoil us by getting us tickets each year!(We sat mid-field, 4 rows up, it was amazing). However, Hannah is pouting because Miley Cyrus hasn't performed yet at this point.

And then of course the amazing fireworks!! We also went to a Bees baseball game with my parents on the 5th, they lost horribly, but the fireworks at the end were perfect!
