Dr. Appointment

I went in for a quick visit with the doctor yesterday (we are down to every two weeks already!!) He said I am measuring a week and a half ahead! I was so excited! Hannah measured about a week ahead and was born 3 weeks early. As long as he is healthy, I am ready for our little boy to come any day!

Summer is here!

Summer took it's sweet time coming, but it's finally here, and we all have the sunburns to show for it. Today after the parade Hannah took a dip in our little pool in the backyard then sat around eating Cheetos. Her new favorite thing is to play in the water for 5 minutes then sit in the sun for 30 eating a snack. I guess I can't blame her, it's pretty relaxing. Later we went to Grandma Chris' house to swim in her real pool, but again, she only lasted 5 minutes then spent the rest of the time in the sun eating chips :)

New Dog Friend

Hannah finally got a new dog friend (all the dogs she knew died in the last year)! This is Grandpa Kim's new dog "Muffin." Weighing in about 2 pounds and 6" long, Hannah absolutely adores her already. When Hannah met muffin she carried her around like a baby for almost 2 hours before she put her down and they started chasing each other.

My baby turned 4 today!

Time flies, I can't believe my little girl turned 4 today! She had a fun day and got away with a lot of things, but her favorite part was getting her first pet. She picked out a betta fish at Petsmart and has named her Dorothy after Elmo's dorothy from Sesame Street.

Hannah's birthday party

Last night after church we did a little party to celebrate Hannah's birthday this week. The kids got to make a magnet, we had dinner, a mermaid pinata, and cake and ice-cream. Hannah really enjoyed it and had a blast! The sad part was going to the Emergency Room afterword because Hannah had severe stomach pain that wouldn't go away with pain medicine or children's pepto. (She was screaming so loud from the pain, I was pretty scared.) At 3am after x-rays and waiting I finally told the doctor we would forgo anymore tests that he admittedly said would not give us a whole lot of information and we went home on "appendicidis watch." Well this morning Hannah is feeling much better after having gone to the bathroom, which they tried forcing her to do last night, but her body was not cooperating, if you know what I mean. But the x-rays did show a lot of gas in her stomach, so the puzzle pieces have come together, and I think Hannah is going to be just fine, but it sure made for an expensive birthday party!!

House Update

I just spoke with our Realtor and he said we've been out-bid on both houses we've offered on, but there's a minor chance things may work out in a month for the house in Cedar Hills. I'm not holding my breath, whatever is meant to be will be, know what I mean? In the meantime, if anyone sees any good houses for sale, let us know!
