Memorial Day

I'm a little behind on the blogging. I've become a slave to my many ambitious projects this summer (more on that later...) Memorial Day we went to the annual picnic with the Moody family. Kolby and Hannah went to the first annual Fisher reunion at the cabin/ranch with Kolby's entire family. Maddax and I didn't go because he had been up two nights in a row screaming due to an ear infection and traveling to a remote/desolate area didn't seem like a good idea (fast forward to next Tues. when he will be getting tubes in his ears, HOORAY!)

Anyway, (I'm getting off track, sorry. My mind has a hard time staying in one place lately.)( I didn't take any pictures at the picnic but the hour before Maddax and I spent an HOUR walking around the extremely large, people filled and crowded cemetary looking for my Grandpa Moody's headstone. I was very near tears by the end because hauling around a sick kid, walking in the hot weather was disastrous. We finally found the headstone (after some help from a guy who tried to sell me a plot for myself while we were waiting for the location look-up, I mean, do I look old enough to start planning for that stage of my life!?!)

I think we will have to venture north to meet Great Grandpa Graham next year, then East to visit Great Grandpa and Grandma Fisher.
